2022 Election - Making a Plan to Vote
The Election is fast approaching, and if you haven’t already made a plan to vote, it’s not too late! Election Day is Tuesday November 8, but early voting starts as early as Monday, October 12. Below is a checklist to help you plan your vote.
VOTING PLAN CHECKLIST
Determine IF you can vote
You can check your voter registration here. Make sure you haven’t been purged since the last election, and make sure your current address is correct! The last day to register is Sunday, October 11.
Determine HOW you’ll vote
Vote by Mail
Vote in Person
Determine WHEN you’ll vote
If Voting by Mail, follow the instructions on the ballot you received, and mail it back ASAP.
If Voting in Person, you can either vote early at the Board of Elections or find your polling and plan what time you’d like to arrive.
Make sure you’ve arranged to fit voting into your normal schedule including school, work, childcare, commute times to/from your voting location.
